Why is godaddy not giving away the domain?

I had a domain in the .com zone. I didn't renew it with godaddy. The renewal date was supposed to be September 18th. Well, I think, okay, the domain will be released and I will register it again. But godaddy is still the owner. Can someone suggest why this is happening? Here is the information from whois.
