Why is flexslider not working in drupal?

Good morning. Some magic happened when a friend tried to install flexslider. I did everything according to the instructions from drupal.org, i.e. I rolled up Libraries and actually the flexslider itself, connected all this in extensions. What exactly is "magic". On a custom theme, the jquery.flexslider-min.js script is not connected to it, and in the page source code, the path to it looks like this jquery.flexslider-min.jsthose. the engine just cuts the whole path, leaving only the file name, and by itself this causes errors in the console like "is not a function". The main essence of magic is that when you change to a standard theme, everything starts to work fine. To check, I also installed Drupal for myself, did everything the same, and to my surprise, everything is exactly the opposite for me: the slider does not work on the standard theme, but it works on the plug-in one. How to solve this problem and where to dig I even xs, because this is generally the first time I'm doing something on Drupal. Maybe someone knows why?
