Why is disk space displayed incorrectly?

There are 2 disks on the server, it is being copied from another server via rsync, the total amount of data being copied is 2.5TB. The process is running, but the disk usage statistics for df -h do not change. Tell me what could be the problem?

Because you are apparently copying to Home and there is no more space
