Why is data truncated when inserting into mysql?

Hello. I am writing here out of desperation, since a two-day search for an answer in Google and the poke method has not led me to anything yet. (Especially tightly never worked with mysql)
I copy a very long string into a LONGTEXT cell. It cuts off somewhere at the level of ~ 37,000 characters. At the same time, you can manually print as many more characters as you like and save - and it will be saved. Those. the problem is somewhere in the area of the clipboard size.
I read that there is such a thing as max_allowed_packet - can this be the case? What does it look like and where to dig?

If max_allowed_packet is the problem, the server's error log should contain "Packet too large" errors if it was not enough.
It would also be nice to look at the settings of the client in which the request is being made.
