Why is Chrome slow on Mac?

Hello!
A couple of months ago, I began to notice problems with the Chrome browser on a poppy, it began to slow down a lot on the YouTube site, and on all other sites, when the console or developer panel was open. Cleaning the browser helps, but for a couple of days, then all over again.
I noticed that the lags are strongly related to the presence of a JS script on the pages, BUT earlier these pages were displayed without brakes.
Any other browser works optimally under the same conditions, what's the problem?

Standard question - did you set any left extensions?
Well, Chrome is probably the heaviest browser of all and eats a lot of RAM.
