Why is Chrome's autocomplete window wider than its input, and can it be fixed?
There is an input field, for example a name. And if the autocomplete specifies a string wider than input, then the autocomplete dropdown box will have the width of that string. More specifically, the input is 300px wide, and the autofill box will be 500px wide.
Is it possible to somehow influence this? It is necessary that the autocomplete window be no wider than the input
