Why is build not generated when building irrlicht?

Apple Xcode

I downloaded the 1.8.1 version from the site.
Unpacked, go to source/Irrlicht/MacOSX
Run MacOSX.xcodeproj Select
as target - libIrrlicht.a
Press build and run, get build succeeded
But the build folder doesn't appear in source/Irrlicht/MacOSX
WHAT?

the issue is resolved, everything lay in
xcode was not configured
