Why is Always on display not working on Xiaomi Mi 9T phone?

I bought a new Mi 9T, version MIUI 12.1.4 Global, set up the active screen (Always on display), but for some reason it does not appear.

I tried to reflash, change the theme, disable MIUI optimization, but nothing helped.

What do you advise?
