Why is a usb 3.0 flash drive not recognized by a usb 3.0 port?

Hello. The problem is that port 3.0 does not detect flash drive 3.0. Well, that is not trying at all.
Oddly enough, the port itself works properly with other 2.0 .. 3.0 devices.
The flash drive, in turn, works properly not only in 2.0 ports, but also in other 3.0 ones!
OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Drivers installed and updated.

It's just that some controllers have a mutual dislike.
This is common on laptops and some asus motherboards.

Yes, it happens. I had a 2.0 flash drive that didn't work in my motherboard. It worked on all other computers, and the motherboard with all other flash drives also worked without problems.
