Why is a triangle worse than a square?

Why is it considered that, in simulation for games, a grid of four points is better than a grid of three?

Because on a grid of quads it is easier then to do smoothing to the final model.

Vidyaha draws everything with triangles, a square is 2 triangles. Try to work with some kind of opengl or the like. graphics without frameworks and other things, you will see for yourself
