I can not understand why sourcemap is needed, in particular - gulp-sourcemap. How does this help in layout.

Just imagine, you collected 10 files in 1 bundle, then minified it, but how to debug this noodle?
Sourcemaps comes to the rescue, which will show the real structure of files, etc.
