Why is a parameter used in one component described for another?

Question about parameters used in component templates.
As I understand it, they are given in the description of the documentation, for example, "News in detail" https://dev.1cbitrix.ru/user_help/content/iblock/c...
However, the template of the news.detail component contains the DETAIL_PICTURE parameter from the "News - Tape" https://dev.1c-bitrix.ru/user_help/content/iblock/...
1. Why is it not listed in the documentation for "News in detail"?
2. It turns out in any component parameters from another can be available or how?
3. And when you meet with an unknown parameter, you need to search for all existing ones?

1. Most likely, they just added one more parameter to the component, and the documentation has either not been updated yet, or they forgot.
   
2. No, component-specific parameters are only available in the component itself.
   
3. No need to search, all the parameters of a particular component are relevant only to it.
