Why in an application on angular.js, if you press the back button, the previous action is returned?

Hello.
Why in an application on angular.js if you press the back button, the previous action is returned, and not the previous page?
For example, I clicked on the slider and I want to return to the previous page, but instead the previous slide of the slider is returned...

browser back button?
if so, then the browser operates with pages from the address bar
; if the slider or other element changes the address bar when its state changes, then the browser considers this a separate page, which means you can go to it (according to the browser)
