And now all the files have become like this, and without code highlighting

Most likely you created index.php instead of index.php (looks the same, but in 2nd version instead of English p, Russian p) and therefore the development environment does not see it as php, when I created it myself, as a result, the context menu was exactly like yours

Right click on the file. Should be something like Mark as php
