Why has attendance increased?

There is a site, until recently there was an attendance of 5-15 uniques per day.
Then something happened and attendance increased tenfold (statistics below are given for 7 days).
Competitors? So why then drive bad traffic if the site is nothing of itself anyway?

Where did it grow? A slight increase a bit more. It's normal when it's more then less, like a digamma of the heart. It’s bad when one solid straight line goes.)
