Why files are not updated in the system?
The system (Ubuntu 14.04) was installed on November 5, 2014. Previously sat on a Windows system!
There is a removable hard, it has a daddy with music! And so the question is that when I copied the folder with the music to the laptop (Ubuntu 14.04), everything was copied normally in the system and the files were not broken, the dates of the creation of the files also match, that's only when I add the daddy with the music to the audio player program, then I see that the creation date of the audio file is November 5th. How so?!
Screenshots posted for visual analysis!
On 2 screenshots I selected the same file, but in the audio player it is displayed - the date is November 5! But this is not true!
What to do in this situation?!
Why did I give this up, I just want to listen to music by date of change, i.e. sort older at the bottom and newer at the top of the playlist!

The file has 3 attributes for the date: created, modified, modified. On the command line, type:
stat %filename% and see. After copying the files to another location, the creation date does not change, but the modification date does. You have filtering in the file manager by "Date modified", and in the player by "Date of creation" Change the dates of the attributes to the desired date. In doublle commander, the necessary and File-Change attributes are highlighted.
