Why do I keep getting a provider stub page using DoH?
Good day to all
I have a working PC on Ubuntu 18.04.5 TLS. Google Chrome browser 85.0.4183.121.
Installed dnscrypt-proxy, set 'adguard-dns-doh' as the server. Adguard's test page says that I've set everything up correctly: DNSLeak
's
test also seems to show the correct server:
At the same time, I'm embarrassed that when I try to open rutracker.org , I get the provider's stub page. It should be?
It seemed to me that DNS over HTTPS should completely encrypt DNS traffic, which will result in either the correct opening of sites from the list of ILVs or a timeout error. The result in the form of a provider page surprised me.
I realize that I don’t understand something, but I don’t know what exactly. Can you suggest why this is happening?

Most likely your browser is trying to connect via http, to which the provider sends a stub in response.
So by this you have secured yourself from the substitution of dns answers. it is not yet a fact that the provider intercepted these requests.
Well, ok, now you sobered up the rutracker to the correct ip, and went to it, the provider catches you on its proxy and wraps it in a stub.
