Why don't FTP clients work on high sierra?

In general, I have already tried a lot of ftp clients for poppy and not one works normally, some don’t connect at all, FileZilla sometimes connects and works fine (but this is extremely rare), most often it either doesn’t connect at all or connects, but open which one -any directory is not possible, falls off after 20 seconds of inactivity. This problem is not with the same server, I tried different ones, there is no difference. Previously, there was a filezilla on Windows and there were never any problems, sometimes I had to play around with the active / passive mode, etc. but in the end, the norms were always connected, now no dancing with a tambourine helps. The most more or less adequate phpstorm, it most often connects normally, but there are also problems when it shows just an empty directory and you can’t do anything either, no reboots help.

The problem is not with the clients. There is a problem with your ISP or FTP server. If you are for NATom (apparently), then the server must have a normally working passive mode, otherwise there will be trouble.
Protocol normal FTP or sFTP which thread? What provider? From Windows to the same servers from the same Internet (from home) are there any breaks and such problems?
