Why doesn't WP translate parameter strings?

There is a Primer theme . It has been translated into Russian out of the box. Everything works fine, but... translations of strings with dynamic parameters do not work, for example: Search
Results for: some text
1 thought on " some text "

$title = sprintf(
    /* translators: search term */
    esc_html__( 'Search Results for: %s', 'primer' ),
    get_search_query()
);

The remaining lines without parameters are translated perfectly. I looked at .po translation sources - they are translated there without errors.
Please help me, I beg you, this topic is very dear to us, others cannot find such beautiful ones)
