Why doesn't Win7 always read audio file tags?

For example, the columns "track number", "album", "artist" remain empty, while everything is displayed in winamp?

Win7 does not support ID3 tags version 2.4, the latest supported version is 2.3.
If you resave the tags in version 2.3, everything should appear.

From experience, for editing mp3, flac, ape tags under windows, Tagscanner, Mp3tag and iTunes are optimal.
