Why doesn't the referral program work after updating MiniShop2?

After updating MiniShop2 to the latest version (from 2.2.0 pl2 to 2.4.17-pl), the ref program (built into minishop ?msfrom=........) stopped working.
That is, it works in the context of web (site.ru), but does not work in the context of ru (site.ru/ru/). The cookie is written to the user, but is not used anywhere in the future, i.e. the referrer does not appear at the buyer.
What the hell or is it just me?

I'm not sure that the minishop had a built-in such a built-in thing. But in any case, it would not be bad to say and show what you see in the logs.
