Why doesn't the keyboard work?

I'll start from afar, because after a year and a half of waiting for GTA 5 on PC, having learned about the nth postponement of the release date, I spat and bought a PlayStation 4. ^_^ Actually, today I took it, unpacked it, connected it, set it up and Gmail found out that my keyboard stopped working. It connects through the PS2 port, while the mouse is USB and works fine. Actually, at first I thought about the incompatibility of products (yes, PS4 is connected only to the monitor and the system unit is useless here, but what the hell is not joking?). In general, completely turning off and de-energizing the PS4, I did not see the result.
Is this the port closed? Although, the board is a year old freshness, but the keyboard is already 8 years old.

I don’t know what it was, or what gods resurrected my keyboard, but yesterday I didn’t do any manipulations, but today I turn it on to look for a new mouse on the hotline, and lo and behold, it works. ^_^
