Why doesn't the domain redirect to heroku without www?

Added cname record from heroku with subdomain www.
There was some kind of service that you add an A record, and it redirects to www.
Can you please advise? I searched the internet but couldn't find it for some reason.

Clouflare has redirects.

cname redirect works only on domains of level 3 and above
