Why doesn't Teamcity show all commits when I connect a Git repository?

When connecting a git repository to teamcity, only new commits are displayed (from the moment you connected to teamcity).

How to make it so that all previous commits of the repository in tc are displayed?

IMHO no way. Yes, and I did not happen to be in such a situation when it was necessary to build the story back to the installation of the vehicle.
