Why doesn't style="background:brack" work in the design of the question "Question Details" on toster.ru?

In my opinion, black would look much better.

How would it look if such a feature was enabled:

Is this not done because of security, or because there is no time?

Ha, of course it's forbidden. And not only for security reasons, but also because the toaster has its own design and its own vision of how code examples should be formatted.
Here, in your home IDE, you can make the background gray-brown-crimson speckled, and the color of the code acid green and consider that there is nothing better. But please do it at home.

This is not a tag for you to shove anything into ... This is the markup for the toaster parser. The markup <code lang="html">codecode> tells the parser that in this text it is necessary to highlight the html syntax and it takes the only parameter lang="", it makes no sense to prescribe style here

most likely, based on the overall style and color scheme of the site.
