Why doesn't specifying the maximum processor frequency help?
The laptop has a Ryzen 5 3550h processor.
In the power settings, I set the maximum state of the processor to 99% when connected to the network, because. at 100% idle, it can heat up to almost 70 degrees, and if you set it to 99%, then the temperature stays stable around 40-50 degrees, even if the browser is running with video in full hd, you can play games, the temperature is 50- 65 degrees. Only this miracle works at 1700 MHz, although the temperature can remain the same if you raise its hertz.
I poked around in the register, turned on the maximum frequencies of the processor in the power supply, set it to 2100 or 2400 MHz, and the processor does not want to work at such frequencies. If I set 100% of the work of the processor, then it will reap up to the maximum speed (3700 MHz), what should I do?
