Why doesn't Slick slider scale on mobile?

I made a website page that displays several slides. Used the Slick Slider plugin. When I use my fingers on mobile to scale the area above the slider, everything stays the same. But, if I zoom in on any other area, then everything works. Testing in safari. Tell me, please, what could be the reason?

Maybe because Slick died a long time ago and is not supported?

Well, this is being discussed here and it seems that something is even being proposed, but as I understand it, there is no normal solution. Here is swiper scaling (at least on my android phone)
