Why doesn't Safari remember my browsing history?

Hello! Please tell me if anyone has come across this problem. When working in the Safari browser, when moving around the site, for example,
"Home - Product Category - Product" by clicking on the back arrow - transfers immediately to the main page. The site does NOT use nested urls.
In the rest - everything is fine, the problem is only with Safari.
