Why doesn't python IDLE save files?
Installed Python 3.8.5 via exe on the official website. I click RMB -> New -> Python file.
Next, I open it, I write something, I choose to save. IDLE just pretends nothing happened. It just reverts back to the file and doesn't save anything.

The idle builtin is a very poor implementation of this kind of thing. Maybe you are pressing ctrl+s on the Russian layout? In 2020, it matters for some reason.
Download any other IDE.
PyCharm / SublimeText 3 with plugins etc
No, in English.
I use PyCharm, but when you need to write something short and fast, then loading the IDE, creating a project, there is simply no desire.
Interestingly, with IDLE everything works when I create a file via Ctrl - N
>> So, let's say I collect the required amount on a crowdfunding site, but what's next?
- First, you need to collect it.
You will have to convince everyone that your idea is worth the money. It will be necessary to describe it very qualitatively, again, who will implement it, the team, etc.
If you say that I came up with a perpetual motion machine, give me money, then it is unlikely that anything will come of it.
And if it's just the essence of the question:
1. Answer why you collect them (this money)
2. Make this device, or are you just an ideological inspirer?
3. If all the same, the ideological inspirer, then look for someone who will make it for you
4. Depending on the purpose of using this item, look for a way to implement it (implementation as technology//sale//patent sale)
What an interesting approach. I thought that at first it is necessary to determine at least the cost of implementing a working prototype (stuffing, software, wrapper) and the cost of supplying the device to mass production. And then collect the loot.
Therefore, you must first discuss the device with an engineer (designer, programmer) and designer (is it necessary?), Then with a marketer (and he will tell you how much). And then ask for money. Not?
Sometimes I am surprised at the answers to questions :) The man asked "How (....)?" and in response they begin to teach him "life" - do this, "do that", "but in general", etc. Answer in essence, without pouring thoughts down the tree.
As for the question, before you start fundraising you must (even have to) describe EVERYTHING about your idea!!Starting from the mission of the project and ending with where the last screw will come from for its implementation. And since this is all done at the very beginning, before raising funds, then in the end, when the funds will be collected, you will automatically find the answer to what to do next.
To raise money through crowdfunding... you need to have some money.
Crowdfunding is just one form of funding and rarely the best.
You should not start with this.
Implementing the idea of a device is a project.
Work on the project. Answer the questions you write.
You yourself will understand what's what, you can explain to others)
