Why doesn't PyCharm see other Python interpreters?
I can not specify the path to the Python3.8 interpreter in PyCharm.
It costs LMDE 3, Python 3.5.3 is preinstalled in it, it is located: /usr/bin/python3
I installed Python3.8, it is located: I launch
PyCharm, open Settings, look for the path to 3.8, the IDE does not see the /local directory inside the /usr directory
In addition, the IDE does not see also neither /usr/bin/python, nor /usr/bin/python3, nor /usr/bin/python3.5, but it uses Python3.7, which is not recognized by the system (but here, as I understand it, the matter is in PATH) and which is NOT in /usr/bin/ AT ALL
What's going on?
How to specify the required interpreter? /usr/local/bin/python3.8
