Why doesn't Parallels Tools install on lInux?

AXIS - Ubuntu Gnome 16.04.1 Virtual
Machine - Parallels Desktop 11.0.0
Laptop - Macbook Air 13 2015y.
Unable to install Parallels Tools. At 49 percent it gives an error. Help me please.
