Why doesn't owncloud want to work with postgresql?

The problem is this: I'm trying to deploy owncloud with postgresql, it gives an error "invalid username and/or password". Checked up some times, from the server on which the cloud through psql connects to a DB connects. In phpinfo pgsql appears.
