Why doesn't network-manager see its own connections?

Here is the screenshot. He sees the VPN, but the PPPoE connection is not.
What needs to be installed? I put:

network-manager-pptp
network-manager-pptp-gnome
network-manager-l2tp
network-manager-l2tp-gnome

Then he put everything in general:
sudo apt-get install network-manager*
did sudo service network-manager restart
Nothing helped.
