Why doesn't monitor overclocking work in Linux?
I have a laptop. I always sat on Windows, and wrote the code there. But recently I decided to put myself a manjara (it's on Arch Linux, if I'm not mistaken). Firewood with grief in half installed, but the monitor could not be adequately dispersed. I used CRU on Windows, and everything worked quietly. Right there, when setting the resolution with custom hertz (xrandr), everything seems to go well, but when using hertz, I don’t see any difference :( Even the display does not go out for a couple of seconds, as it was on wine. Why is that? 60Hz, it remains, although xrandr writes an asterisk next to 100Hz, and the monitor settings show that I now have not 60Hz, but 100
