Why doesn't graphics switching work correctly?

I have :
- ASUS X554L laptop with Intel HD Graphics 5500 and NVIDIA GeForce 920M

Installed NVIDIA 440 version driver (nvidia package) and optimus-manager-git (with optimus-manager-qt-git GUI)

Command output lspci -k | grep -EA2 'VGA|3D':

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 5500 (rev 09)
  Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. HD Graphics 5500
  Kernel driver in use: i915
--
04:00.0 3D controller: NVIDIA Corporation GK208BM [GeForce 920M] (rev a1)
  Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. GK208BM [GeForce 920M]
  Kernel driver in use: nvidia

xf86-video-intel is also installed and optimus-manager when switching graphics to NVIDIA and checking with glxinfo in the OpenGL renderer string line shows the GeForce 920M/PCIe/SSE2 value, direct rendering is also enabled, in the corresponding field the value is Yes, but when checking through glxgears FPS does not rise above 60-65

How can this be fixed?

@Nertsan

https://www.nvidia.ru/Download/driverResults.aspx/... download and update the driver or better switch to Windows
