Why doesn't git clone download all files?
The problem is this. git clone doesn't download all the files in the repository. Or, for example, there is a simple editor - sublime text - I create a file there and try to save it, but it is not saved. I suspect that the problem is with file access in Linux. But since I'm an inexperienced Linux user, I don't see the Path. Please help me see him. I would like to be able to safely delete any files. I have already created a non-root user, I do everything under it through sudo, but still nothing helps. Help me please.

so under sudo you do everything just as the root user...
Normally it should be like this.
There is a user besides root.
You work from him, create folders, copy files, even edit.
IF you need to install a program, use sudo. Or if you need to change system files ... well, or restart some process
