Why doesn't FreeBSD create a label?

Made in singleuser:

glabel label rootfs /dev/ad0s1a
glabel label swap /dev/ad0s1b
#tunefs -L rootfs /dev/ad0s1a

There was no conclusion. Checking the status:

#glabel status
                  Name  Status  Components
label/rootfs     N/A  ad0s1a
ufsid/4cbc0221a66b47ad     N/A  ad0s1a
label/swap     N/A  ad0s1b

#ls /dev/ufsid
4cbc0221a66b47ad

#ls /dev/label
rootfs swap

after rebooting into the multiuser everything is empty:

# ls /dev/ufsid/
# ls /dev/label/
# glabel status

Where are the labels going?

Do you have the geom_label module loaded? Show kldstat after reboot.
