Why doesn't ESP-01 ESP8266 work?

Good day.
I purchased the ESP-01 ESP8266 module on Aliexpress.
The instructions in the net say that when power is applied, the blue light should blink.
It doesn't happen, it just lights up red.
When connected to arduino to TX and RX, no information is displayed in the console either.
Tell me please, is the module defective or do I have hands?

It turned out to start the module. Only for some reason it works at 74880 baud, and everything that it gives out at startup and nothing else

Not necessary. There you need to add a pull-up resistor to the ground and the exchange rate is not higher than 19200.

Try sending it an AT command at different speeds. If you get OK - everyone is fine and the module is ready for work. or see if the exact access has appeared in the list of Wi-Fi networks.
In general, I personally switched to the ESP-Link firmware and I advise everyone. There are a lot of pluses, and I consider the biggest support for Arduino firmware over the air and the MQTT protocol configured through the web face of the ESP-01 itself.
Please note when flashing that you most likely have a module with 1 megabyte of memory.
