Why doesn't eclipse sdk android create src/ directory and layouts in /layouts?

I downloaded the latest android sdk (eclipse), updated all the plugins that needed to be delivered, after creating the project, the src/ directory and standard layouts are missing in layouts/
problem on stackoverflow - stackoverflow.com/questions/22190578/adt-will-not-.. .

they say there are some problems with the last update ...
so I saw somewhere, a warning that for the time being refrain from the last update.
