Why doesn't Eclipse PDT work correctly with Content Assist?

When you enter the first letter of the class name, it gives the following error.

If you close the window with an error, content assist will quietly complete the code. The error appears exactly when you enter the first letter of the class.
eclipse version - Mars.1 Release (4.5.1)
