Why doesn't deflate work on apache2.4 + nginx 1.9 on openserver?
The deflate and filter modules are included.
.htaccess says AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE application/x-javascript
What could be the problem?

Do a gzip on on nginx.
Does it make sense to load a fat and clumsy Apache with compression?
