Why doesn't bios see bootable ubuntu flash drive?
It all started with the fact that I needed to install and work with Ubuntu. I install it not for the first time, so I did not expect any problems on my way. And at first everything went well. Initially, I had an old and shitty tenth Windows next to which I decided to install ubuntu. I downloaded Linux, made a bootable flash drive using unetbootin ... I start the BIOS and ... I put usb hdd in first place in terms of priorities - absolutely no problems. But after that, I accidentally formatted the entire hard drive during installation and I had to reinstall Windows 10,and Ubuntu on top of it. I cleaned the disk, installed the newest windows exactly the same way as I made a bootable flash drive with unetbootin, I run bios, and it no longer sees the bootable flash drive. Why? The flash drive is installed correctly on another laptop, the BIOS sees and recognizes it, before installing Windows, this laptop also saw a USB flash drive, and then stopped. What could be the problem?
