Why doesn't beef detect IP?

I used Beef from under Kali linux , launched it, hacked my browser, then decided to test on a friend, he went to the "website" after which my computer with the external IP of my router was displayed in the list, but naturally I can't send commands because they sent to my PC. Can't see friend's IP :(

Непонятно: вы сидите в одной сети и роутер один?
Сервак с Beef в интернете или на вашем компе?

Сидим не в локалке, роутеры разные.
