Why doesn't Awesomium start on a virtual machine?

I built a simple project using Awesomium 1.7.5.1. I wanted to run through VirtualBox or VMware Player Windows 7 and
in the log entry:

[1029/072418:INFO:dhcp_proxy_script_adapter_fetcher_win.cc(265)] Error fetching PAC URL from DHCP: 2

When you start an empty, endlessly supposedly loading document.
What does this error mean, why does it occur and how to fix it?
I was told:

Look towards setting up a network card on the main OS and virtual machine.

But after all, the problem occurs only with this Awesomium , and the rest works fine.
Maybe there is some other way to connect / configure?
And yes, if you look in the settings of the network card, what should be there?

On the Internet, I saw on some gaming forums they also wrote about this error, but I didn’t find anything worthwhile, except for looking at the settings or rearranging the Windows. But still.
