Why doesn't Adobe Animate CC (Adobe Flash) import AI files?

Adobe Illustrator

I use Adobe Animate CC 2019, Adobe Illustrator CC 2018.

In Adobe Animate CC 2019 File->Import->Import to Stage->test.png
The picture appears in the library. Can be dragged to the workspace. Things are good.
File->Import->Import to Workspace->test.ai .... and nothing. There are no pictures anywhere. Not in the library.
Adobe Animate does not give any error. Just nothing happens.
The official website says that Adobe Animate supports importing Adobe Illustrator.
Image dimensions are 78x200 pixels. test.png is created from test.ai.

Why doesn't Adobe Animate CC (Adobe Flash) import AI files?

Try Ctrl-c, Ctrl-v from Illustrator
