Why doesn't Adobe AE see audio from AVCHD?

Hello.
There is an AVCHD(.MTS) video file when importing this file into AE, the sound disappears.
There is sound through media players (VLC, Windows Media).
After Effects CS6 does not play sound during previews and renders this file also without an audio track.
I ask for help, perhaps someone has already encountered this problem.
