Why doesn't account.setOffline work?

Hello, I can't mark a user as offline.
For the sake of interest, I installed Kate Mobile, it's still online.
With what it can be connected?
I don’t write on the wall, the browser with the profile is closed.
PS about half a year ago it marked offline even if it just called the method from account.setOffline
