Why does YouTube unpause playback?
The essence of the problem: I watch a video, I don’t have time to watch it, I pause it and go to bed ... and at night, at an arbitrary time, I will have the sound of this video, which was removed from the pause. For example, today youtube woke me up at 03:55. I wake up not for the first time, I didn’t pay attention for a while before ...
How can I get rid of such behavior? Turning down the speakers is not an option, because. the video will end and I will lose the time I watched; close the tab - I might forget to watch :)

Click on "look later" and turn off the computer.
The next day, open https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=WL and click on your video. And Youtube starts to lose from the min:sec from which it stopped.
And if you forgot about the video the next day, then this video was not important.
loading comments with reloading the page at some wild interval?
browser auto-update with restart?
the cat runs across the table and clicks on the mouse ))
the solution is to put a userscript to disable autoplay.
and even easier - to mute all sounds, because you don't care.
