Why does Xcode hang when I try to open images.xcassets file?

The program hangs when trying to open the images.xcassets file, the download icon hangs on the cursor, left it for a couple of hours, it didn’t pass, I had to close it by force and restart the program. Moreover, if you delete the file and create a new one, the window is loaded, but when you try to import images, it also hangs tightly.
Deleted XCode, download again. Let's see what will happen.
P.S. Before, about a month ago, everything was fine.
What could be the problem?
