Why does WooCommerce switch Wordpress page template?

Welcome all!
Yesterday I updated the WooCommerce plugin for Wordpress. Immediately, the layout moved out and the price lost the designation "ruble" and some other currencies. I confess , I changed woocommerce.css and woocommerce-layout.css . Damn, didn't touch anything else. Uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin didn't change anything.
I set Saphali Woocommerce Russian so that at least after the price it says "rub."
Changed styles from memory again (not woocommerce this time).
But here I can't fix the layout. Turns out WooCommerce sort of switches the page templatewhen connecting a store from "Basic template" to "Template without side page". Those. formally, the template does not change, but in fact on the page the layout of the template without the sidebar. Tried to connect to other existing pages, created a new one. The same. What the hell is happening I don't understand.
Please help!
Since the problem arose on localhost, I demolished the site, deleted the msql database. Created a new site, a new database. I put woocommerce, but the ruble sign did not return))

Saphali Woocommerce Russian into the firebox, then fill the firebox with concrete.
for the ruble there is such a problem, in the last update or even two, they went through in a row, it's a matter of font incompatibility, in the next version it seems like they should fix it. Trouble is observed in all sorts of chromiums.
For now, play with font styles, for example like this.

span.amount {
    font-family: 'Times New Roman';
}

About switching templates, it's not clear what you mean, but I'm sure it's the theme you're using.

Read the wucommerce changelog - the ruble sign has already been added to the plugin itself. Yes, and any changes to the templates need to be done within the folder of your theme in the woocommerce subfolder. You don't need to change anything in the plugin.
And with templates, you have trouble just because you changed files in the plugin distribution.

Does the theme have store support?
